Transform Your Smile With Veneers

Veneers are thin, durable pieces of tooth-shaped porcelain custom-made by a professional dental laboratory to match the shape and color of your natural teeth. They are bonded to the front of your teeth to enhance the appearance of your smile.

Veneers can completely reshape your teeth, offering an effective solution for various dental conditions. Often, they serve as an alternative to crowns, providing a less invasive option for achieving a beautiful smile.

While veneers are highly durable and can last many years, they are not permanent and may eventually need to be replaced. With proper care, they offer a long-lasting, stunning smile.

Reasons for Veneers

  • Cosmetically, to create a uniform, white, beautiful smile.
  • Crooked teeth.
  • Misshapen teeth.
  • Severely discolored or stained teeth.
  • Teeth that are too small or large.
  • Unwanted or uneven spaces.
  • Worn or chipped teeth.

What Does Getting Porcelain Veneers Involve?

Getting veneers usually requires two visits to complete the process, with little or no anesthesia required during the procedure. The teeth are prepared by lightly buffing and shaping the surface to allow for the thickness of the veneer. A mold or impression of the teeth is taken and a shade (color) will then be chosen by you and the dentist.

On the second visit the teeth will be cleansed with special liquids to achieve a durable bond. Bonding cement is then placed between the tooth and veneer and a special light beam is used to harden and set the bond.

You will receive care instructions for veneers. Proper brushing, flossing and regular dental visits will aid in the life of your new veneers.

What Are Composite Veneers?

Composite veneers are thin layers of tooth-colored resin that are applied to the front of your teeth to improve their appearance. They’re an excellent option for correcting issues like stains, chips, gaps, or uneven teeth. Unlike porcelain veneers, composite veneers are made directly in your mouth, meaning they require less preparation and can be completed in just one visit.

One of the main advantages of composite veneers is their ability to seamlessly blend with your natural tooth color, providing a beautiful, natural-looking smile. Plus, they are customizable and can be adjusted to achieve the exact shape, size, and color that suits you best. Whether you want to improve the shape of a tooth or restore its color, composite veneers can provide immediate and long-lasting results.
